Covid-19 Update

We are as committed as we have always been to maintaining a safe and healthy environment in our clinic and throughout your treatment. As a dental organization, we are always aware that our patients may have a number of infectious diseases, and we have processes and procedures in place so that we do not transfer them.

With the recent outbreak of COVID-19, we have made a number of changes to our already diligent procedures so that both you and our clinical teams are safe when visiting our practice.

Heightened deep-cleaning and sterilization procedures

We use Optim wipes, a disinfectant proven to kill the COVID-19 virus, to disinfect all surfaces in the office. We sterilize waiting rooms before and after you check-in and in the individual patient consultation rooms before every appointment.

Every 30 - 60 minutes, we disinfect doorknobs, handles, exam chairs, computers, tables, and desks.

To reduce the number of surfaces people touch, many of the office amenities have been temporarily removed, including sparkling water, pillows, and reading material.

Protective Equipment

Everyone entering our clinic must wear a face mask. If you are having a procedure that requires access to the area covered by a mask, you will be asked to remove the mask only during the procedure itself.

Our team will be equipped with a face mask and protective clothing during all appointments.

Health Screenings

Before appointments, we screen all patients to ask if they have had a fever, cough, sore throat, chills, aches or runny nose in the last two weeks. If so, we will reschedule them until they’ve been symptom-free for 14 consecutive days.

Every staff member, dentist, and patient will have their temperature checked upon entering the clinic. Anyone with an elevated temperature will be sent home and only be invited back to the clinic when they are symptom free and have had a normal temperature for two weeks.

At check-in patients will again be required to answer questions to verify they’ve been practicing social distancing and have not had a fever, cough, runny nose, shortness of breath, and/or body aches within the last two weeks.

Social Distancing

We are increasing the time between appointments to make sure our staff completes a deep clean in each consultation room before every appointment. This is an augmentation of practicies established by the CDC for the prevention of more infectious agents in the dental setting. Increased time between appointments also ensures that social distancing is preserved between our patients and teammates.

Our patient scheduling will be staggered to remove any overlap in the waiting room between patient appointments.

To ensure all patients’ safety is upheld, we must stress the importance of arriving on time for your appointment. If you are late for your scheduled appointment, it will be canceled because it will interfere with our ability to provide safe care for those around you. Unfortunately, we had to cancel all of our appointments over the past few months, so we anticipate our schedules will be very booked up. If your appointment is cancelled, you will likely not be able to get in again for up to 30 days.

Each appointment spot is very precious right now, we ask that you respect the larger 32 Dental patient community and show up on time so we don’t lose a valuable slot another patient could have had.

Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to providing you with safe and best in class dental care very soon.
